SCI Golden Gate Chapter's 2nd Annual California Special Youth Waterfowl Hunt Placement
Once again this year the Golden Gate Chapter of SCI will be helping to place youth hunters at several private duck hunting clubs throughout Northern and Central California for the annual Youth Waterfowl Hunt. This event takes place the weekend after the official close of the regular waterfowl season. Youth hunters who are 16 years of age or under, who hold a valid California Youth Hunting License are eligible to participate in this event.
Quite often this opportunity turns out to offer some of the best shooting of the season as the ducks have not seen any hunting pressure for a week. Last years youths harvested many ducks and all had a wonderful experience.
Every junior hunter must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
